The Goldsmiths Company

Biography:

My medals often follow themes of thought - I produce series to explore different possibilities, as in Perspective Illusions and Spiral Forms. I also produce tribute medals for selected artists. Often medals are inspired by events; the recent eclipse of the sun; the Matisse exhibition; the 150th year since the birth of Van Gogh. Medals are commissioned by organisations and individuals. There is a unifying look to my medals. I explore strong, sculptural lines and form, exploiting light, shadow and texture.
