The De Vroomen design philosophy is to create jewellery that encapsulates the qualities of style, elegance and sophistication. De Vroomen jewellery is created for those who appreciate jewellery of the finest craftsmanship, individuality of design and timeless appeal. De Vroomen is world renowned for the use of enamel. Fabulous stones, both precious and semi-precious, are complemented by enamels in a spectrum of colours ranging from the subtle to the exuberant. Leo's passion for pearls is expressed in his use of lustrous South Sea and Tahitian pearls, combined with beautifully crafted gold. The art of repoussé gives Leo de Vroomen full scope to create the bold and distinctive forms that make his jewellery so recognisable. Literally thousands of hammer-blows are required to raise and shape a sheet of gold. The result is a unique form with a shimmering surface texture, of a softness that cannot be achieved in any other way. Connoisseurs of De Vroomen jewellery will recognise that the creation of new ideas and the search for ever changing forms and colour combinations inspire every piece.
Repoussé: The art of repoussé, in which Leo de Vroomen is a specialist, uses hundreds of hammer-blows to raise a design from a single sheet of gold.
Enamel: Leo de Vroomen uses a fabulous range of enamel colours to enhance and enrich his work.
