Biography:

Michael Driver has designed and made modern silver for a variety of clients ranging from private individuals to multi-national companies. The work is varied in style with the plain, woven and curvilinear designs being developed and applied to many different pieces, including boxes, napkin rings, goblets, tea sets, cutlery, objets d'art, jewellery, ecclesiastical work and presentation pieces. A large proportion of the work is individually commissioned and includes water jugs for Kent University, The John Player Transatlantic Trophy, the Swiney Cup for the Royal Society of Arts, a silver plate for the National Silver Collection, the Tarmac Racing Trophy and replicas of Chichester Theatre. The work has been exhibited at Goldsmiths' Hall, the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Design Centre, The Crafts Centre of Great Britian and other galleries. There have also been three one man exhibitions.
